Story Overview:
Well what I've read is that three men turned their life around from life lessons. They all had hard childhoods growing up in Newark. But when they met in high school they made a pact to do better in school and life. Throughout their long difficult journey they made it through with their pact , making their dreams come true. This book has taught me that the people you surround yourself with does matter , because if their a good influence on you you'll go down the right road.

Story Overview:
As I read this book I've learned that these young men and woman go through a lot. They teach you how to deal with relationships and other friendships. You will learn that love is a main factor in this book. These young men and woman our trying to find who they really our though out these mini stories. This book is based on reality , which young men and woman go through.

Story Overview:
In the first 10 pages I've read the Aibileen Clark talks about Mae Mobley. She also talks about her best of a friend Minny Jackson. She explains how Mae always would follow her around and also how her son Treelore died from getting hit by a tractor trailer. You also meet the Leefolts ( the people she works for ). She explains how she works for the Leefolts and what it's like.

She also tells about how Mr. And Mrs. Leefolt argue in front of Mae Mobley. But Aibileen doesn't understand why they yell at Mae. She also talks about where see lives and how she was raised.

What I read this week was that Minny had gotten fired because of her sass-mouthing on her old job. At fist Minny thinks that Miss Celia isn't going to hire her because of the rumors that Miss Hilly has told about Minny stealing her gold. But then shes surprised that Miss Celia hires her. There is only one problem thought , Miss Celia's husband doesn't know that shes getting a maid. So now her and Minny have made up hours for her to work without being shot at.

Story Overview: (At least 5 sentences) Ms. Minny is helping Ms. Celia learn how to cook and how to clean a household. But Ms. Celia's husband doesn't know that she has a maid cleaning and cooking every night. So Ms. Minny has strange hours and she can't be found by Celia's husband. But one day she almost gets caught so she has to hide. Now on the other end of the track Ms. Skeeter just came home from college and her mother is bothering her about her career. He mother wants her to find someone to marry and start a family. But Skeeter thinks otherwise. She has big dreams of being a writer and she different shes not like town ladies. She wants to live big and be someone. But she thinks if she follows her dreams her mother will be disappointed in her so she stuck.

Now she is furious with her mother because she doesn't doubt that it isn't true. Now she wants to find out the whole story but her mother and father wont give her any information about it. So now every week her and Abileen get to talking about things. But Miss Elizabeth really is nothing liking it.

As Mama Pearl wants to help Laurel with the mess of the dog she goes back into a flashback of her in Georgia. She's trying to accomplish things while now living back in Louisiana. But it seems like things aren't going like there suppose to. Otherwise Laurel is trying to do breathing exercises to calm her down like her doctor insisted.
