Story Overview:
This book so far is about a girl that was bullied in junior high and high school. The beginning starts off with the girl Jodee all grown up, she is a very successful women and she is going to her high school reunion. She is sitting in her car too nervous to walk into the hotel to see all the people that ruined her life growing up. She then begins to remember all the means things kids did to her They used to make fun of her, call her names, and even through spitballs into her hair. She thought starting high school would give her a fresh new start, but it didn't, the bullying continued.

Story Overview:
Jodee begins to talk about her childhood. She went to a religious school and had a normal childhood and had many friends. During her lunch break, she would volunteer in the other class that had deaf children that other people were very cruel to. She met a little girl named Marianna and even had a play date with her and her best friend Jo Ellen told her if she was friends with her then they couldn't be friends anymore. Jodee had to make a terrible decision of ending her friendship with Marianna that had no friends besides Jodee. Jodee's parents were very upset when they heard what Jodee had done and made her apologize and they had a talk with Jo Ellen's parents and in school Jo Ellen was basically forced to talk to Jodee. But as they reached 5th grade they grew apart from one another. But kids in the school would bully the deaf children but calling them "retards" and making nasty chants about them. Jodee walked in on them bullying them and she yelled at the other kids and they felt betrayed by Jodee and ignored her. They all hated Jodee, but she was part of a play that was featured in the newspapers called, "Wizard of Oz," and she thought it would help get everyone to like her again. She was Dorthy, the lead character, Jodee's mother made calls to the kids parents that were in Jodee's class and they all attended. But they still all hated her and none of them wanted anything to do with Jodee

Story Overview:
The bullying continues for Jodee and her parents finally sent her to a different school. It was for very smart and gifted children. Her father began to believe that there was something wrong with Jodee, that she had social issues and that maybe she needed some help. She had known one girl that went to the school because she was in the play with her. Jodee was very nervous about going to this new school, but her friend told her people there were nice. Her first day of school she made friends. People there had heard good things about Jodee through the girl Jodee was in the play with, things were beginning to turn around for Jodee.

Story Overview:
Because Jodee ruined the party for everyone by calling her mom to tell her what was happening, it got everyone in trouble and everyone hated her. But some people were thankful because they were too afraid to speak up. Jodee got bullied even worse at school. They dragged her outside in the parking lot and beat her up and she would try to fix herself up in the bathroom and on the bus before going home.

Story Overview:
Jodee's parents found out what was going on at school with the other kids. They had enough and decided to send Jodee to go see a psychiatrist named Dr. Graff. Jodee didn't want to go, but was forced and the doctor decided he wanted to run some tests on her. She was freaking out cause she thought that if the other kids found out she was getting help they would make more fun of her.

Story Overview:
Jodee's doctor decided to put her on some medication to help with her socializing issues. The medicine made Jodee very tired and her parents realized that and decided to take her off of the pills. Summer later began and Jodee's parents decided to move cause they got better jobs. They moved to a suburban area and Jodee saw all the little kids playing together in the near by park. She was longing to try to introduce herself, but was too scared to. Because they moved Jodee had a choice of what new school she wanted to go to.
Jodee was inside when someone knocked on the door and it was a neighbor and her daughter. They had come to welcome Jodee and her family to the neighborhood. Jodee was excited and ran to go get her mom and they welcomed them in for some coffee. The girls mother told her to take Jodee to meet the other kids and she did, she seemed to be very happy to have a new friend. The girl and jodee had a lot in common and seemed to hit it off

Story Overview: (At least 5 sentences) Jodee made friends with the children in her neighborhood and they did everything together over the summer. Jodee was finally accepted. But instead of being a leader and try to stick of people, she was a follower and did whatever the group asked of her. No one in the group was allowed to cry cause that was considered weakness and pathetic. Things were becoming normal again and she would be going to another new school with her new found friends. Greg was the leader of their group and what he said goes. Things were going well for Jodee so far.
